IMMERSIVE TRAINING

Up to 10 participants can freely move and interact in an immersive and highly realistic environment inside a 200 m² / 2150 sq.ft. arena. Participants experience stress-levels comparable to a real mission.

SCENARIOS

Instructors have the ability to directly influence the simulation by controlling virtual civilians and hostiles, or leaving decisions up to the artificial intelligence (AI) system. Refense has its own team of developers, so that custom features and scenarios can be created.

HARDWARE

The combination of state-of-the-art technologies enables the use of full-body avatars, deployment of items (including weapons with recoil simulator), accurate tracking and visually compelling scenarios.

REAAR

Using the "Refense After Action Review" tool, the training session can be further analyzed, focusing on the performance of a single participant or the entire team. The recording can be accessed remotely, enabling off-site instructors to provide additional input. Using the free-flight camera, the training sessions can viewed from any perspective, greatly enhancing situational awareness.

4D-EFFECTS

By utilizing different 4D effects (e.g. wind, heat, smell), the degree of immersion is dramatically increased for all participants.

SHOCK-BELT

Shock belts are used to simulate injuries and to further increase the stress-level during training missions.

REEL-EDITOR

Using the Refense Enhanced Level Editor, partners can create their own scenarios using our modular system.

TRAINING FACILITIES

Select partner facilities in Switzerland and abroad will receive additional training to become certified Refense training centers.
